Poker strategy is a set of approaches in a particular game or round to make the most to have your opponent place bets in the pot when you have a winning hand.  Poker strategy and bluffing are closely associated with each other in every move of a game.  Poker strategy is not the same for every kind of poker.  Each different poker has a different set of strategies to be applied.

Poker strategy with regards to table position is quite important.  You can use your table position to contribute to your victory.  The last of the players enjoy the most of the table position advantage because before they can even start most of the information about the other players will be visible and you can arrive at some odds better than the first or middle player.  The blind bet position is the main poker strategy with respect to table.  The two players left to the dealer are in most cases required to initiate the little blind and big blind in some poker games. Early table position, middle table position and late table position are the table images that should be considered in arriving at the odds.

Poker strategy with regards to starting hands suggests that you can arrive at your winning chances after seeing the first two of the pocket cards.  It is always better to fold than call when you have received a bad hand with dealing.

Poker strategy with regards to playing with cheap flop suggests that if you are playing with an opponent with a better pair and you have an average hand with all players having placed a sloppy bet, you can try to check if with some draws you may get some straight or hit.

Poker strategy with regards to pre-flop suggests a calculation of odds based on the attitude of a strong loose player who plays based on his mood swings. You can learn the table image after the completion of the pre-flop round that you can use to your advantage to make certain moves in the flop round.

Poker strategy with regards to playing after the flop round can be quite critical with fewer dealers to play and most players at this stage being tight and aggressive.  It is critical you decide right at this stage to either proceed with going ahead based on the table image or to fold or to risk some expert bluffing if you are really sure of the odds of your opponent.
